Can it be true? The Walters appear to have gotten back together and are playing at least three live shows in December, it was announced on the band’s website and social media.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 5.

The Walters split four years ago and formed two separate camps: As performers called Corduroy, and with lead singer Luke Olson going solo and taking the moniker L. Martin.

But it seems the band members have mended fences in the name of good music. The Walters are expected to play New York at The Bowery Ballroom on Dec. 6, Los Angeles at The Regent Theater on Dec. 8 and their home town of Chicago at the Metro on Dec. 30.

The guys posted an enthusiastic message with ticket links on their Instagram account and asked “Where should we go in 2022?” Hopefully they’ll be making the rounds of plenty of towns across the U.S. and beyond, fans begged.

The Walters grabbed the affections of the fans from 2014-2017. Their lyrics and music with captivating harmony is reminiscent of the Beach Boys only with a modern twist.

The band: Olson, Walter Kosner, Michael Tirabassi, Danny Wells, and Charlie Ekhaus released two EPs and three singles. Their first collection, Songs for Dads went viral and was named to the United States Viral Top 50 list on Spotify.
