In Asian culture it’s time to celebrate new beginnings and Prima Donna has released a fan-filmed video to celebrate the “Year Of The Rat.”

The retro-style video is an assembly of in-concert footage and cool cartoons, celebrating the clever rodent, the rat. The song “Year Of The Rat” is from Prima Donna’s album S/T, (CaliforniaRocker.com is an Amazon affiliate).

The rat is a colorful and smart and animal and those who are born in the “Year Of The Rat” have admirable traits, according to Chinese culture.

“Year Of The Rat” is a black-and-white video, edited by David S. Field with live concert content supplied by longtime fans and friends of the band. Special kudos go to AlleyKat, Toschilmaz, Susana M., MarcxRamone, and Admiral Needa.

With its retro rocker sound, the song “Year Of The Rat” is much like its video: It’s fuzzy and fun, with driving bass and beat, great guitar work, and salacious saxophone.
