Wayne Kramer revealed to his social media followers that for the last three months he has been undergoing cancer treatment. But the founder of the MC5 said he would be on hand throughout his Michigan Library Tour this week.
Kramer, who recently wrapped the MC50 tour, has put on a brave front and is keeping a low profile, telling his Twitter followers of the health news.
“I’ve been busy the last 3 mos w/cancer radiation. My prognosis is truly excellent but I wanted to stop a moment to explain. That is, I was indeed very sick but improving daily and happy to be in Mich’s libraries talking with you all in person this week!”
He recently published the book “The Hard Stuff,” in which he writes about his life.
