Pomona Musician Alejandro Aranda gave the performance of a lifetime on American Idol Tuesday.
Aranda performed his original song, “Out Loud,” and left the three judges, Lionel Riichie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry in a state of amazement.
“That was the greatest,” Richie told Aranda. “You have such a career and the fact that you don’t know it makes it even more special.”
“I will not sleep until I watch him perform again,” Bryan said.
Perry told Aranda simply: “Stay humble.”
The judges didn’t say anything anyone familiar with Scary Pool Party didn’t already know.
Aranda has been writing beautiful music for years and was selected as “Artist of the Year” in 2017 by Cal State Northridge.
