Hootie and the Blowfish will hit the road for the 44-city Group Therapy Tour with support from Barenaked Ladies.
The country-pop crossover band celebrates the 25th anniversary of the debut of the LP Cracked Rear View.
Hootie and the Blowfish hit 44 cities on the tour, produced by Live Nation. The Group Therapy Tour kicks off Thursday, May 30 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and wraps Friday, Sept. 13 in Columbia, S.C.
Hootie and the Blowfish expect to release a single in the spring and a full album by the summer of 2019.
The band went on the morning show TODAY on Monday, Dec. 3, to make the announcement.

Hootie and the Blowfish is comprised of Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld. They met when they were students at the University of South Carolina.
Hootie and the Blowfish fan club members can access an exclusive pre-sale starting today, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. local time. Barenaked Ladies fans who have purchased VIP packages in the past will receive an exclusive code to purchase tickets early on Wednesday, Dec. 5 starting at 10 a.m. local time before they go on sale to the general public Friday, Dec. 7 at www.LiveNation.com.
