Ty Segall and White Fence Debut New Single ‘Body Behavior’

It’s rough coming back to the grind after a week-long Fourth of July break, but the release of “Body Behavior,” the new single by Ty Segall and White Fence, makes it a lot easier.

“Body Behavior” is off the album Joy, which drops July 20.

Label Drag City, which has a roster of some of today’s best musicians, lends to the fun, describing the single as “damn catchy.”

We would have to agree as the chorus sticks in your brain. Reminiscent of a Beatles-meets-Byrds 1960s tune, “Body Behavior” underscores the diverse abilities Segall and White Fence bring to the modern-day table.

After all, if you don’t remember the past, how can you repeat it, right?

The guys previously released another track off the record, “Good Boy,” presumably referring to their pets? On the cover of Joy, Ty Segall and White Fence hold their beloved animals, Segall with “Fanny,” who has been immortalized in song already, and Fence’s fluffy kitty.

The duo will hit the road in October in a run-up to Desert Daze in October.
