Interpol rounded up the packed house of fans at The Hollywood Bowl Thursday night. Sunflower Bean and The Kills opened for the New York City based band in strong performances.
Interpol moves on along its tour promoting Marauder. The band moves on to Asia, Europe and Australia before coming back to the U.S. Car Seat Headrest and Snail Mail open for Interpol at Madison Square Garden in February, 2019.
The Kills Continue to Captivate
The Kills have been touring as well with the Ash and Ice album and cover of Saul Williams out there.
The duo of Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart keep “Doing It to Death” with the career of the well loved and respected band. Both of them keep DJing and making a living out of the creation of art.
Alison Mosshart comes from the beaches of Florida and has been a dynamic force in the success of the band.
‘Take No Prisoners’ Attitude with The Kills
Mosshart brings her “take no prisoners” attitude as a well-rounded business person to her music. The blonde wave of ambition maintains composure while unleashing a powerful and physical performance time after time.
Maybe it has to do with growing up around a beach town before experiencing worldwide success and adoration. The new shoes are very cool and Alison has great taste in style. She is a true artist in a real sense of the word.
Interpol on Patrol Around the World
What a clever idea to have a band called Interpol that just happens to travel around the world. Besides the great music, the band needs credit for the idea in and of itself. The fans say it all, running the gamut. One thing is for sure, New Yorkers Interpol certainly bring the fans together across demographics.
One fan said they were not able to make Madison Square Garden, so they were flying on to another more distant location — and vacation. It’s a devoted and fun crowd these understated gentlemen have collected along their journeys across the globe.
Early opener Sunflower Bean has a new record out, check them out on Bandcamp.
The Hollywood Bowl as a Destination
The Hollywood Bowl isn’t just another Los Angeles venue, however. There’s history. Interpol filled the arena with compassionate and cool people. The Bowl was in its splendor with a range of dynamic colors highlighting the architecture and the stage.
