Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid has released a new video for the single “High Five” today.
The inspired coming-of-age visual is directed by long-term collaborator Ivana Bobic. Sigrid and Bobic established a successful relationship that has already brought about videos for breakout hit “Strangers” and the live hybrid for “Raw.”
The video pays homage to classics like “E.T. The Extraterrestrial,” “Close Encounters of The Third Kind,” and “High School Musical.” Check it out:

The pop song has already amassed four million streams in four weeks. The song is about “the importance of those relations where you both dare to be completely honest with each other, rather than exchanging superficial ‘high fives’” said the 21-year-old pop star.
The track follows the poignant “I Don’t Want To Know” and “Raw,” a collection of songs that is expected to be released as an EP.
